CHRIS EUBANK'S promoter Barry Hearn and Don King could work out a package deal this week. The WBO light-middleweight champion, Eubank, would fight the WBC champion, Nigel Benn, in September. The WBA champion Michael Nunn would defend against the Frenchman, Frank Nicotra in Paris, and the IBF holder James Toney would face Darrin Van Horn at a European venue. The winner of the Eubank-Benn contest would then fight Nunn or Nicotra, with the winner meeting Toney or Van Horn.
GLENN McCRORY has been given the all-clear after an X-ray on the left hand he damaged on Thursday when he beat Mark Young on points in Las Vegas. He is confident that his British title challenge against Carl Thompson can go ahead next month.
