THREE of the 10 riders run down by a drunk driver while competing in the Ruta Mexico race have been released from hospital while the others are improving under observation. Cuba's Frank Consuegra was the worst hurt with concussion and a broken leg. The driver of the van which ploughed into the riders on the fifth stage from Guanajuato to Aguascalientes was arrested.
