Spacey the difference for Arsenal

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Arsenal 3
Arsenal won the 25th FA Women's Challenge Cup final at Prenton Park after a brilliant late goal from Marieanne Spacey. Spacey's 81st-minute effort put Arsenal ahead for the only time in the match and clinched the trophy for the north Londoners for the second time in three years.
Liverpool went in front twice in the first half with well-taken goals by the England international Karen Burke - voted player of the match - either side of a Rebecca Lonergan equaliser.
Lonergan put Arsenal level again 10 minutes into the second half and last year's beaten finalists, Liverpool, were again denied victory when Spacey produced her stunning individual goal near the end.
Renowned as one of the best finishers in the women's game, Spacey shimmied past three Liverpool defenders and fired in a fierce shot which gave the Liverpool goalkeeper, Tracey Davidson, no chance.
