The Sunday Mirror suggests that Wimbledon will demand around pounds 7m, while the News of the World predicts that a bid of around pounds 5m will be rejected.
The Mail on Sunday reports that Liverpool have dropped out of the chase for Bolton's Jason McAteer, but that Blackburn are poised to make a pounds 4m bid, and Arsenal and Manchester United remain interested.
Bolton have had a pounds 1.5m bid for Birmingham's Liam Daish rejected, but the News of the World predicts that Spurs may step in with an offer. Tim Sherwood may leave Blackburn Rovers if Spurs or Arsenal move in for him, according to the People.
Andrei Kanchelskis could make pounds 2m if he leaves Manchester United, according to the News of the World. A clause in his contract entitles him to a third of any fee, with his former club Donezts also entitled to a third.
