Despite missing four key forwards, Bradford put their surprise defeat at Hull KR last week behind them to beat a team who had previously conceded only 63 points in five games.
They turned on the style with some glorious handling moves while Deryck Fox underlined his claims for a place in Great Britain's line-up against New Zealand at Wembley next Saturday with an authoritative display.
Gerald Cordle, who scored two tries for Wales against the Kiwis last Sunday and another against them in midweek, got two more. His fellow winger Brimah Kebbie also scored two.
Leeds, without the injured Ellery Hanley, Andy Gregory and Kevin Iro, slumped to their third consecutive away defeat, 21-6 at Oldham. The Lancashire side, superbly led by their Australian captain, Bob Lindner, produced their best display of the season.
Oldham took control in the second half with tries by Charlie McAlister and Steve Kerry. Paul Topping added goals from the touchline to put Leeds in command.
Hull KR's win over Bradford was forgotten as they were overwhelmed 54-18 by Castleford. Castleford ran in 10 tries with their New Zealand centre Richard Blackmore and the winger St John Ellis both scoring hat-tricks and Simon Middleton scoring twice.
Paul Loughlin picked up 16 points in St Helens' 36-10 win over Wakefield Trinity. Loughlin kicked six goals from eight attempts and also went over for a late try.
Mark Aston inspired a fight back by struggling Sheffield Eagles which ended with them snatching an 18-18 draw with Featherstone Rovers.
Sheffield, still without a win at the Don Valley Stadium, grabbed two second half tries through Aston and Gary Price as Rovers, who led 12-8 at the interval, were forced to hold on desperately in the final minutes.
