Your support makes all the difference.With today's cards at Windsor and Leicester washed out, it is another day of all-weather racing. Wolverhampton is the sandy venue today, but hopes are high that hooves will be hitting the turf again tomorrow at Sedgefield and Towcester.
While Friday's card at Kelso is likely to go ahead, the turf meeting at Lingfield is under threat from the rain. The track will be inspected at 10am today.
There is pessimism over Saturday's important fixtures at Chepstow and Sandown. "With yesterday's good weather we would have been close to racing today," Chepstow's clerk of the course, Rodger Farrant, said. "But it rained again this morning and the forecast for Thursday and Friday is not encouraging." Michael Webster, in charge at Sandown, said: "Things are fairly borderline at the moment."
The weather is threatening to disrupt the plans for the Grand National runner-up Just So, who has possible targets at both Sandown and Chepstow. He has run only once since finishing second to Miinnehoma and missed his mid-season target when the meeting at Taunton was called off a fortnight ago.
