The Team GB football side have been knocked out of the London 2012 Olympics.

Stuart Pearce's side were beaten by South Korea 5-4 on penalties at the Millennium Stadium.

The match had ended 1-1 after extra time, with Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey equalising from the spot for the hosts, but then missing another penalty shortly afterwards.

When it came to the shoot-out, Chelsea's Daniel Sturridge was the only player to miss as South Korea buried their kicks with class.
