The former Liverpool winger Mark Walters is having signing talks with Swindon after walking out on Stoke. He is available on a free transfer after having a brief spell at Southampton last season after he was released by Liverpool.

The Danish striker Erik Bo Andersen scored against his old club, Aalborg, on Thursday as Rangers won 3-2 in the second match of their tour to Denmark. Ally McCoist and Gordan Petric also scored.
