The ATP Tour has announced that Jeff Tarango has been fined a further pounds 13,000 and suspended from Tour events for three weeks for his post-match interview remarks after defaulting at Wimbledon against Alexander Mronz.

The top seeds, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, yesterday drew potentially dangerous first-round opponents for the US Open starting on Monday. Agassi plays another American, Bryan Shelton, and Graf will play the South African, Amanda Coetzer, who beat her last week in Toronto.
