Europe's leading women's sprinter Irina Privalova, who has broken one world indoor record and equalled another this year, will run in the Birmingham international meeting on 25 February. Privalova, from Russia, who will compete against Nellie Cooman of the Netherlands, is the Olympic 100 metres bronze medallist and won the European 100 and 200m titles in Helsinki last year. She broke the world 50m record in Madrid on the way to equalling the world 60m record of 6.92sec.
