Winning your second LPGA tournament in the space of two months is bound to feel special; doing it holing out with a shot from over 150 yards away is bound to feel even more special.

That is what happened when golfer Sei Young Kim managed to secure the LPGA Tour’s Lotte Championship title in Hawaii on Sunday by making an an eagle with the incredible eight-iron shot from 154 yards out.

Entering a play-off against compatriot Inbee Park, Sei Young Kim watched on in astonishment as her ball narrowly missed the water, before bouncing twice and landing in the cup.

After leading by a shot at the start of the day, a wayward shot at the 18th found the water and seemed to hand the championship to rival Inbee Park.

However, an incredible chip just off the 18th green saw her match Inbee Park’s 11-under par for the tournament and set-up the incredible play-off between the two.

It is not the first time the world number three has won in dramatic fashion either.

Speaking to reporters after the incredible shot, she said that in 2013 she had once won a tournament by making a hole-in-one on the final hole.
