WWE: Ronda Rousey on Steph McMahon 'What did I ever do... but give her an opportunity'

WrestleMania 34 takes place in Sunday night to close out another frantic 12 months of WWE action on the Grandest Stage of them All in New Orleans.

The Mercedez Benz Superdome stages the 34th edition of WrestleMania, which sees a number of fascinating matches booked and the potential second departure of Brock Lesnar, plus a number of rumoured returns including that of the supposedly retired Undertaker.

But one of the biggest matches of the night could well be that of AJ Styles against Shinsuke Nakamura as the two fan-favourites go up against each other for the WWE Championship, while both women’s titles will be on the line as Charlotte Flair takes on Asuka for the Smackdown Championship and Alexa Bliss defends against Nia Jax for the Raw version.

But it’s the professional debut of Ronda Rousey – who teams up with Kurt Angle to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon – that could well be the highlight as the former UFC champion makes her bow in the WWE.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match

Strowman manages to take both Sheamus and Cesaro down with a cross-body splash, and he's tagged Nicholas in! Facing Cesaro, thankfully, Strowman tags himself back in, slams Cesaro, gets the pin...1...2...3!

BRAUN STROWMAN AND NICHOLAS (?!) WIN THE RAW TAG TEAM TITLES!

Seriously, I wasn't joking...

Thankfully, that farce brings us back to the real action, and that's in the form of the main event as Brock Lesnar faces Roman Reigns two years after they last met at WrestleMania. With no money in the bank, no Seth Rollins to spoil this one, who will win? Will Reigns inherit the mantle once again? Will this be Lesnar's WWE farewell? We're about to find out!

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns

Reigns walks out first as the challenger to his usual chorus of boos, although they're nowhere near as bad as they have been in the past at WrestleMania. Could that be because the fans know Lesnar is going? UFC president Dana White - who is actually ringside - has claimed that Lesnar is heading back to MMA after this, and that could swing the WWE Universe into the Big Dog's favour.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns

There's Brock's famous intro, and while he gets a loud cheer from the crowd there are some noticeable boos. Accompanied by Paul Heyman, Lesnar walks to the ring in his trademark MMA gear, and as Michael Cole points out, these are the only two men to have ever beaten The Undertaker at WrestleMania - Lesnar in this very building.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns

Heyman grabs the microphone to announce Lesnar and is greeted with plenty of boos, almost as many as Reigns. Could this be Lesnar vs Goldberg I all over again? Let's hope not.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns

First minute, three German suplexes from Lesnar to Reigns...followed by a Superman Punch from Reigns! Another Superman Punch! And Lesnar rolls out of the ring.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns

Reigns delivers a third Superman Punch after jumping off the steps, and after tossing Lesnar back into the ring, Reigns clotheslines him out of the ring. He goes for another big right hand...suplex! And another on the outside - that's five already.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns

Lesnar tosses Reigns onto the announcers' table, and given we haven't seen anyone sent through the strategically-placed Spanish announcers' table, it's about time someone did! Not yet though, as Lesnar tosses Reigns back into the ring, delivers a sixth suplex and shouts "Suplex City B***h" at his fallen opponent.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns

A seventh suplex is greeted with chants of "boring, boring, boring" and it's fair to say the WWE Universe is not impressed, having seen this type of fight pretty much every time Lesnar fights. An eight suplex sends Reigns out of the ring.
