Seth Rollins kicks off the show to remind the fans of the actions that happened on Raw where John Cena was manipulated to cause the firing of Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback.

“Mr Money in the Bank” then turned his attention to the fact that he has a shot at the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match with Brock Lesnar and John Cena. Rollins said that the actions of The Authority are justified and asked the ringside staff to ring the bell repeatedly for the fired talent.

Roman Reigns interrupted Rollins’ speech by stating that Rollins is washed up and full of suffering and that he will take him on but J&J Security made the save for Rollins before the two could go at it. Reigns managed to knock Rollins and his companions out to the ringside area but The Big Show and Kane came out to the ramp. Kane made a match to state that Roman will join a mystery partner of his choice to take on Rollins and Show.

Big E took on Adam Rose to continue their newly formed feud with the remaining members of The New Day. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are in the corner of Rose in an attempt to deter their new rivals, but Big E managed to win the match in a quick manner by landed the Big E to set up the pin.

Alicia Fox partnered The Miz and Damien Mizdow to take on Naomi and The Usos following Fox’s involvement with Naomi and their recurring relationship issues. Miz rolled up Jimmy for the win but the commentators highlighted that the referee may have thought that it was Mizdow who made the pin as he was the legal man.

The Ascension made their way to the ring to cut another promo of early 1990 tag teams such as Demolition and The Road Warriors. The duo mocked the Legion of Dooms’ catchphrase by shouting “Oh what a rush? What a joke!” The duo made quick work of two local wrestlers by landing a Fall of Man to win the match in a swift double team manner.

Naomi took on Alicia in a singles match following the pair’s mixed tag match earlier in the night. Naomi jammed Alicia Fox into a corner but Fox managed t counter and roll up for the three count. the former Funcadactyl lost the match even though Fox’s feet were on the ropes. The referee didn’t see the cheating by Fox and raised her hand in victory.

The Usos teamed once again in the same night to take on Miz and Mizdow and The Dust Brothers to defend their WWE Tag Team Championships. Goldust landed a Final Cut on Miz before Jimmy rolled him up in a two count. The Usos used the concentration of the other team to dive onto half of the other teams on to the outside before landing a Superfly Splash on Stardust to retain their recently won gold.

Bad News Barrett strutted to the ring with his recently-won Intercontinental Championship to wrestle Sin Cara. Barrett only returned two weeks ago yet has already won the prestigious title. The Englishman looked to continue his winning momentum but Sin Cara countered the Wasteland into an arm drag and finishes the match with a Senton Bomb from the top rope to win his first profiled match on Smackdown for months. Barrett was furious after the match and attacked Sin Cara with the Bull Hammer before demanding for the handing of his title.

Roman Reigns teamed with a familiar face in Dean Ambrose to take on Seth Rollins and Big Show in the main event of the night. Ambrose was dominated for most of the match by Rollins and Show but “The Lunatic Fringe” was able to finally tag “The Powerhouse” in to cause a ring-wide brawl between all four contestants.

Ambrose hit a diving elbow onto Show and J&J Security from the turnbuckle while Reigns controlled business inside the “Squared circle”. Reigns won the match with a Spear on Rollins and celebrated with his former Shield partner in front of the crowd as the show closed. Both Reigns and Ambrose looked stronger than ever and are tipped to be showcases in the upcoming Royal Rumble.
