Hull hit Bradford's hopes of climbing
Bradford missed the chance to break into Super League's top eight for the first time this season when they lost 28-14 at home to Hull yesterday.
After trailing 16-0, the Bulls fought back with two tries from Shad Royston, but Craig Fitzgibbon snuffed out any hopes they had.
Huddersfield took their turn to go into first place with a 28-20 win over the Catalan Dragons. David Hodgson scored two tries for the Giants, but the in-form French side kept it close by crossing twice while they were reduced to 12 men by the sin-binning of Setaimata Sa.
In Saturday's other game, Harlequins ended their miserable run of 12 without a win by beating Wakefield 40-22. Luke Gale was the key man with six goals, a try and a hand in several others.
