Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

At least one Regional League club will go forward to the fifth round of the EH Cup as a result of yesterday's draw in which South League Holcombe entertain Worcester from the Coaching Solutions Midland Premier.

National League Premier Division sides have again been fortunate with only one clash, Cup holders Reading having to travel to Canterbury. However, two Premier sides still looking for their first League victories of the season will feel none too comfortable. Loughborough Students entertain the high-scoring Old Georgians and Old Loughtonians are at home to Bowdon. Teddington, also looking for their first League win, will be more confident when they entertain Middlesex neighbours Eastcote. Former Cup winners Havant and East Grinstead, who have both fallen on hard times and are now in Division Two, clash at Havant Park. Premier side Hampstead and Westminster may have a difficult task as they travel to First Division Chelmsford.

EH CUP FOURTH ROUND DRAW: Barford Tigers v Lewes; Bath Buccaneers v Sheffield University Bankers; Bournville v Birmingham Univ.; Brooklands MU v Old Whitgiftians; Cambridge University v Surbiton; Cannock v Beeston; Canterbury v Reading; Chelmsford v Hampstead & Westminster; Havant v East Grinstead; Holcombe v Worcester; Loughborough Students v Old Georgians; Nottingham v Firebrands; Old Loughtonians v Bowdon; Oxford Hawks v Doncaster; Teddington v Eastcote; Woking v Belper. (Ties to be played Sunday, 23 November).
