At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference. When Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao walk out at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the early hours of Sunday morning, boxing fans will be about to embark on the biggest fight of their generation.
But who are the lucky few that have been selected to appear on the undercard and thus take part in one of the most anticipated nights in sporting history?
Two exciting fights top the undercard with both involving current champions. WBC super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz defends his title against Jose Cayetano in an all-Mexican bout, while WBO featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko of the Ukraine takes on Puerto Rican challenger Gamalier Rodriguez.
Santa Cruz will be making his second appearance on a Mayweather undercard and has emerged as one of the most exciting boxers on the planet, with fans warming to his all-action style. In Cayetano, he will face a six-year pro who is only just making his debut in the United States, and last fought in February when he lost out to Enrique Bernache on a decision.
Lomachenko remains one of the greatest amateur fighters in history having won two Olympic gold medals along with two Amateur National Championships. The 27-year-old won the WBO title last year by defeating Gary Russell Jr, and will be making only his second defence against Rodriguez this weekend. The Puerto Rican is dangerous opponent, having not lost since 2009 and has reeled off 17 straight victories since a technical draw in 2010. He also beat Orlando Cruz last year, but Lomachenko will represent a serious step up in his boxing career.
The two fights will be screened live on Sky Sports Box Office in the build-up to the main event, but there are a number of other fights taking place on the night that will not be televised, as detailed below.
