Glastonbury 2019: Festival goers watch England Women's World Cup win

England take on world champions USA in the opening game of the 2020 SheBelieves Cup.

Phil Neville’s side have endured a relatively miserable time since their World Cup heroics, winning just two of their last seven matches.

It was the US who defeated the Lionesses 2-1 in the semi-final and they remain unbeaten since January 2019, having won all but three of their last 28 fixtures.

They are, however, negotiating a new era, with Vlatko Andonovski replacing Jill Ellis as head coach.

Here is everything you need to know:

What time is kick-off?

The match will begin at 11.45pm on Thursday 5 March.

How can I watch it?

The match will be broadcast live on BBC Two, with coverage beginning at 11.40pm.

What is the team news?

US talisman Alex Morgan is the biggest absence, with the striker currently pregnant with her first child. Casey Short, Andi Sullivan and Lynn Williams are the new faces in the squad since the country’s World Cup win.

England will be without Lucy Bronze and Beth Mead, who are both injured for the entirety of the tournament. They have been replaced by Chloe Kelly and Alessia Russo respectively, while Grace Fisk has received a first call-up.

Predicted line-ups

USA: Naeher, Sonnett, Dahlkemper, Ertz, Dunn, Mewis, Horan, McDonald, Lloyd, Heath, Press

England: Roebuck, Greenwood, McManus, Williamson, Daly, Stanway, Walsh, Nobbs, Parris, England, Hemp
