On Thursday, rumours surrounding Manchester United's next much-needed purchase continued, with William Carvalho and Daley Blind both mentioned as possible buys ahead of the close of the transfer window.
However, Arsenal have reportedly already had two bids for Carvalho turned down this summer, while Ajax want to hold onto Blind and said he would only be allowed to leave for a "top price".
Tottenham, who have won their first two games of the season, are hoping to bolster their squad further with interest in Danny Welbeck. The Manchester United striker has been told he can leave Old Trafford.
