At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference. The Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers insists he will not let the impasse with Luis Suarez "sabotage" the club's start to the Premier League season.
Suarez has arrived back on Merseyside after international duty with Uruguay and the striker will meet Rodgers at the club's Melwood training ground tomorrow. Rodgers told him to train on his own a week ago after accusing him of showing a lack of respect following his attempts to engineer a move away from Anfield, which were blocked by Liverpool's owner John W Henry.
Rodgers says he is fed up of the Suarez soap opera and does not want it to disrupt his preparations further before their opening Premier League game against Stoke City tomorrow.
"Nothing can sabotage what we are trying to do," he said. "I can't let anything detract from that. I don't really want to go on about it."
