Your support makes all the difference.Brentford have secured the month-long loan signing of Arsenal's England Under-19 star Chuba Akpom, and don't let his sullen demeanour fool you - the forward says he's 'buzzing' to be a Bee.
The club's supporters have seen the funny side in the unfortunately timed shot of the 18-year-old holding the Brentford shirt today, making light of the image on Twitter.
One fan added the caption 'Where am I and what is this?' while another quipped 'he looks ecstatic!'
Akpom, who has a solitary Arsenal appearance to his name, later posted that he was 'buzzing to have joined @BrentfordFC' before adding 'looking forward to playing for the Bees!'
After delivering a fine display in the FA Youth Cup on Monday night with a hat-trick against Peterborough United, Brentford manager Mark Warburton made his interest known.
He told the club's website: "I would very much like to thank Arsenal for their most professional and prompt response to our request to take Chuba.
"He is a strong, quick player with an excellent touch and good vision and I am sure he will make a valuable contribution to the squad in the weeks ahead.
"I am delighted to welcome Chuba to the club for what will be his first loan spell away from his home club."
