Tottenham have completed the £25m signing of Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old joins the north London club on a four-and-a-half-year contract after successfully passing his medical at the club on Wednesday morning.

"It's a new chapter of my life, a new challenge," Lucas said in the wake of his unveiling. "I'm so happy. It's a big club and I need to enjoy it, work hard and show my quality.

"I will give my best for this club because I think we have a lot of quality and we can win big things. Why not the Champions League?"

Lucas is Tottenham's first January deadline day signing since 2015 when they brought in Dele Alli from MK Dons.

The Brazilian, who was also subject to interest from Napoli, Sevilla and Valencia, will not be eligible for selection for Tottenham's Premier League clash against Manchester United this evening.

Lucas made more than 150 appearances for PSG since joining in January 2013, winning four Ligue 1 titles and three Coupe de France trophies during his time in the capital.
