Manchester United target Thomas Muller has decided that he wants to join the Old Trafford side, according to reports in Germany.
The Bayern Munich forward, 25, has been strongly linked with a move to United all summer, with the Premier League club reportedly having two bids rejected. It is thought that Bayern are holding out for closer to £60m for the World Cup winner.
In addition, a report in today's Sunday Express claims that Muller wants to join up with former Bayern team-mate Bastian Schweinsteiger at United. Schweinsteiger moved for £15m earlier this summer.
Muller was on the scoresheet twice on Friday night, as Bayern defeated Hamburg 5-0 in their first Bundesliga match of the season.
United, who have won in each of their Premier League matches this season, have spent over £75m on new signings this summer.
Morgan Schneiderlin joined from Southampton for £25m, Memphis Depay signed from PSV for £25m too, plus Schweinstieger's £15m and Matteo Darmian, who cost the club £13m from Torino.
Muller has been at Bayern for his whole career, and has won five Bundesliga titles and one Champions League with the side.
