The agent of Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar has dismissed speculation suggesting that he has started talks with European champions Internazionale.

The 28-year-old South Africa international is out of contract with the Toffees at the end of this season, with a number of top clubs keen on his signature.

However, Ivan Modia insists that talks over a move have yet to get underway, as he said: "Nothing is true.

"Steven's contract is expiring and the press continue to report rumours about his future, but I've never met anyone from Inter.

"I know several teams' interest only through the newspapers. We have not received any concrete offer."
