Borussia Dortmund have offered a strong warning to Pierre Emerick Aubameyang's suitors Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, saying that the prolific striker will stay at Dortmund for years to come, and there is no get-out clause in his contract.

The Gabon international, who has scored 22 goals in the Bundesliga this season, has been linked with a lucrative move to the Premier League in recent seasons, but Dortmund’s chief-executive Hans Joachim Watzke has said that the 26-year-old, who has a contract until 2020, will not be allowed out of his deal early.

"The position is clear. Auba plays for Borussia Dortmund and the next years he will play at Borussia Dortmund," Watzke told The Sun.

"No question. There is no get-out clause.

“Money is a thing that can solve all other things. But it’s not realistic.

"Clubs of the Premier League have a lot of money. But so much as to get Aubameyang? It’s a little bit difficult.

“It’s not question of money. We have money. We have no Sheikh. No Roman Abramovich.

“But we have money. We don’t need money. We need success in playing football."
