The Sun on Sunday speculated last weekend that Louis van Gaal has been sanctioned to make a shock move for the Brazil international, a swoop which would cost a total of £240m.
But Neymar has formed a formidable partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at the Nou Camp and insists he is not paying attention to rumours.
"The people from Barca can be calm," he told TV3.
"When I hear things like this, I don't think anything. I just heard it and I am calm. I am very happy at Barca and with my colleagues.
"We can have a great season. I don't know if we can make as many goals but we are going to try to", Neymar added. "We want titles for our team."
United are believed to have the wage structure and transfer funds in place to sign the 23-year-old but remain sceptical about their chances of persuading him to join.
Neymar returned to Barca action during the 1-0 La Liga victory over Malaga on Saturday night after suffering from illness in recent weeks.
