McCoist confident of Cuellar's Rangers return
Ally McCoist, the Rangers manager, has confirmed he is lining up an Ibrox return for Carlos Cuellar and will approach Aston Villa over a move for the Spaniard once the English club has a new manager.
Cuellar was a big hit in his only season at Rangers after moving from Osasuna, helping them to the 2008 Uefa Cup final. McCoist, back from scouting in Argentina, said: "I don't like talking about other people's players but I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested in a player of Carlos's quality."
