Jose Mourinho could spend some of the money Manchester United received for Morgan Schneiderlin on Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.

The Serb played under Mourinho at Stamford Bridge and the Portuguese has now made him part of his summer wishlist as a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick, according to the Sunday People.

Sevilla are "desperate" to sign United striker Marcus Rashford on loan for the rest of the season, according to The Sun.

The 19-year-old has scored six goals in 26 appearances for United this season but has been forced to play out wide thanks to the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front.

Mourinho, who last week suggested Rashford could beat the club's goalscoring record if he stays at Old Trafford, is unlikely to let the youngster go.

Ashley Young is the latest player being linked with a big money move to the Chinese Super League.

The 31-year-old winger has played just nine times for United this season and Shandong Luneng are supposedly interested in signing him, according to The Sun.

Meanwhile, United are now in a "two horse race" with Chelsea to sign Atalanta's Franck Kessie after Juventus reportedly withdrew their interest.

The Ivorian midfielder, currently playing at the African Cup of Nations, has been linked with a €20m (£17.5m) move away but is unlikely to go until the summer, according to Calcio Mercato.
