Antoine Griezmann would reportedly prefer a move to Barcelona over Manchester United if he elects to leave Atletico Madrid this summer.

Griezmann was heavily linked with United last year and came close to joining up with Jose Mourinho’s side before Atletico’s two-window transfer ban was upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The 26-year-old forward decided to stay put and help his current club but is expected to depart at the end of the season.

According to ESPN, Griezmann and his wife have reservations about moving to Manchester and would prefer to remain in Spain.

Elsewhere, Marouane Fellaini looks all but certain to leave United upon the expiry of his current contract this summer.

The Sun reports that Fellaini will reject Jose Mourinho’s attempts to convince him to stay as he is seeking a new challenge and promises of more playing time elsewhere.

Fellaini turned down an offer of renewed terms from the Old Trafford hierarchy in September and can now negotiate with other clubs.

Finally, United will reportedly face competition from Arsenal and Chelsea for the signature of Leon Bailey, the Bayer Leverkusen winger.

According to The Mirror, the £40m-rated winger will not be allowed to leave in January but all three Premier League clubs have watched Bailey with a view to a summer move.

The 20-year-old Jamaican has enjoyed a productive season at the BayArena this term, scoring eight goals in 16 appearances.
