In-demand Moussa Dembele has allegedly disregarded a move to Liverpool, after Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers insisted that he will be staying at Parkhead.

According to the Daily Record, Rodgers has made it clear that his attacking ace won't be leaving the club in January and will continue to see out his career at Celtic, despite abundant interest from numerous big clubs.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp is set to be targeting Schalke’s Sead Kolasinac to help relieve James Milner of his temporary workload at left-back.

The 23-year-old's contract runs out this summer, which has subsequently caught the interest of some major names.

Chelsea, Everton, Stoke and West Ham have all been linked to Kolasinac, reports TalkSport. With two goals and four assists in eight appearances so far this campaign, Kolasinac would be a pertinent addition.

In a continuous attempt to fortify their defence, Liverpool have also voiced their keen interest in Roma centre back Antonio Rudiger, reports the Daily Star. The 23-year-old will be in high-demand with the transfer market looming, with a number of Premier League clubs having already set their targets on the German.

And as Liverpool join Arsenal in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic, it's expected that Klopp will utilise his past links with the youngster in a bid to lure the player to Anfield, the Metro suggests.

During his reign at Westfalenstadion, the German established a healthy relationship with the American midfielder that he is hoping to rekindle at Liverpool.

Lastly, Anfield outcast Mamadou Sakho could be set to leave in January following Klopp’s claim that the 26-year-old does not feature in his first-team plans.

The Daily Star has stated that the Frenchman has attracted interest from Galatasaray, AC Milan and West Brom – despite his pleas to continue his career at Anfield.
