Your support makes all the difference.Benfica forward Raul Jimenez has insisted he is open to a Premier League move amid reported interest from Liverpool and West Ham, and refused to ‘close the doors’ on his future.
Reports from Portugual have linked Jimenez to the Premier League in recent days, claiming that the 26-year-old is expected to receive a substantial “financial offer” from an unspecified English club this summer.
Both Liverpool and West Ham have been touted as potential suitors with the two clubs looking to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.
And when asked about a possible transfer to the Premier League, Jimenez said: "The Premier League is a great league, but you have to wait.
"I don't close any doors and we'll see what happens. I'm still at Benfica. Now, I'm going to have a good vacation then go back to work with everything.
“I saw the [transfer rumour] came out but I don't know anything. I was concentrating on the national team. I have a date to return to Benfica, to join the pre-season games and I'm in the club's hands."
Jimenez joined Atletico Madrid in 2014 from Mexican side America but struggled to impress in the Spanish capital.
He left to join Benfica a season later for a club record fee worth €21.8m.
