Who are the Nations League finalists?

Harry Maguire has said that he is focused on his international commitments with England rather than a potential move to one of the Manchester clubs.

Both Manchester United and Manchester City are understood to be interested in Maguire, who signed a new contract with Leicester City last September.

But the 26-year-old has been included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the forthcoming Nations League and Maguire will not let himself be distracted by transfer speculation.

“When I’m away with England, I don’t think about anything to do with club football,” Maguire said on Tuesday, when asked about his club future.

“As soon as I wear this badge, it’s really important to focus on England and nothing else. At the moment, nothing is going through my head in terms of club football.

“I’m fully focused on the two games coming up and that’s where my head is at the moment.”

Maguire will be expected to start when England play the Netherlands in a Nations League semi-final in Guimaraes on 6 June.

After missing out on a place in the World Cup final last year, the centre-back sees this as a perfect opportunity to end the national team’s 52-year wait for major silverware.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve won a trophy,” he said.

“You want to be winners, we’ve got a lot of winners in our team. You’ve seen that with Man City boys who have turned up after winning three trophies this year.

“We’ve got a lot of winning mentality in our team and hopefully we can transfer it to international football.”
