The race for Dani Alves is hotting up according to reports, with Juventus joining a host of Premier League teams interested in the the defender.

The Barcelona right-back will be out of contract at the end of the season and after what will be seven years at the Nou Camp, it is thought he will move on with new manager Luis Enrique ready to let him go.

There will be no shortage of suitors for the 31-year-old after helping the Catalan club to four league titles and two Champions League wins during his time there.

Among those understood to be keen are Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United. They're joined by Juventus and various other major sides in Europe.

Manchester City will hope the presence of former Barcelona chiefs Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristai can work a deal in their favour, however they have only just signed Bacary Sagna to provide back up for Pablo Zabaleta at right-back.

Liverpool's Glen Johnson is also out of contract at the end of the season, which makes Alves a tempting target, whilst Manchester United's defensive deficiencies have been well scrutinised.

It's thought the Brazil international would command hefty wages from whichever club he ends up at.
