Your support makes all the difference.Chelsea have made contact with the agent of Sergio Ramos according to the Daily Express. The 28-year-old has been linked with an exit from the Bernabeu in the summer with a number of clubs linked with a move for the Spain international. However, it seems the Blues are trying to steal a march on their rivals. Despite the report, Jose Mourinho's difficult relationship with the centre-back could prove a stumbling block.
Juan Cuadrado could be arriving sooner, with Chelsea and Fiorentina in a race against time to thrash out a deal for the winger. The Colombian has been linked with a move ever since his impressive displays at the World Cup. Due to the declining Euro, the €35m release clause in his contract has dropped in value from £26.8m to £26.1m over the past few days. Chelsea are still unwilling to pay such a high price, however, the clause expires in just a couple of days time, which means Fiorentina will then be able to demand even more for the Colombia international, reports the Evening Standard.
Douglas Costa is desperate for a move to Chelsea. According to the Daily Star the Shakhtar Donestk player said: "To play at Chelsea is a dream for any player. It is standing next to some of the best players in the world and competing with the world’s best as well. But really, what catches my eye is the coach." The Blues apparently had a bid of £16 rejected last week.
In order for Chelsea to sign someone they may need to offload. Andre Schurrle is among those linked with a possible exit and it was suggested he could move to Wolfsburg. However the Bundesliga team have poured cold water on the rumours. "A very clear no,” the club's sporting executive Klaus Allofs told Bild when asked about possible interest. "There's nothing to [the speculation]. Even if we were interested, we'd certainly not be alone."
