We’re into the fifth day of the transfer window and unsurprisingly Arsenal are yet to make a move – or show any intent whatsoever – despite Arsene Wenger confirming he will be active in the player market. But that could all change soon enough with the Gunners linked with a move for Legia Warsaw midfielder Krystian Bielik. The 17-year-old Polish midfielder is reported to have said: “I've made a decision [to join Arsenal] and I'm not going to change it.”
The Gunners are also being linked with a move for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech. Manager Arsene Wenger has finally lost patience with current stopper Wojciech Szczesny, but the Blues are unlikely to allow the Czech goalkeeper to leave the club until the end of the season due to Mark Schwarzer’s departure.
Arsenal are also believed to be keeping tabs on Luis Suarez. They infamously made a £40m plus £1 bid in the 2013 summer transfer window with the belief it activated a release clause, but the Reds stood firm and denied Suarez and exit, before he later joined Barcelona in 2014 for £75m. But a tricky start to his life in Spain has prompted suggestions from the Daily Mail that he could be dispelled with and a stunning return to the Premier League would certainly interest the Gunners.
HEADING FOR THE EXIT…
Joel Campbell looks likely to leave the club on yet another loan with David Moyes’ Real Sociedad believed to be interested in the Costa Rica international. The 22-year-old has featured sparingly this season despite Wenger claiming this could be his breakthrough year, and instead could be sent out on his fourth loan spell since joining the Gunners having featured for Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiakos over the past four seasons. Villarreal are also believed to be interested.

Yaya Sanogo’s loan move to Bordeaux could be off after the French club’s president Jean Louis Tiraud gave Arsenal a 24 hours deadline to respond to their offer for the 21-year-old striker. Wenger is reported to prefer a Premier League destination for the France Under-21 international, with Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Swansea, Stoke and Everton all believed to have shown interest. However, Tiraud said on Tuesday: “Sanogo wants to come on loan to Bordeaux, and he has told his manager Arsene Wenger that. We are working on bringing Sanogo to Bordeaux. We are going all in on this target. We have asked Arsenal to give us an answer on Tuesday or Wednesday latest.”
