A section of disgruntled Arsenal "supporters" planned a protest outside the Emirates Stadium last night, owing to the club's lack of activity in this transfer window, but thankfully for Arsene Wenger and Co, no-one turned up.

Albeit a solid addition, the Gunners have only brought in goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea this summer for £11m.

In fact, the Gunners are the only team in Europe's top five leagues not to sign a senior outfield player this summer.
