Angel Di Maria made a very strong statement last season that he would not be leaving Manchester United - one which today he will surely be regretting.

Following a bright start at Old Trafford following his £59.7m move from Real Madrid, Di Maria began to struggle and by the end of the campaign could not even get into Louis van Gaal's starting XI.

But despite his problems, in April Di Maria offered a strong indication that he saw his future at Manchester United by having his shirt number tattooed onto his arm.

A '7' was the latest addition to the sleeve of ink on his left arm, corresponding with the famous Manchester United jersey worn by the likes of David Beckham, George Best and Eric Cantona which he was handed following his British record switch.

But Di Maria has now left Manchester United, and unfortunately new club PSG couldn't offer him the same number because it's already occupied by Lucas Moura.

Having worn the number 22 at Real Madrid, PSG have revealed that Di Maria will wear 11 in the French capital.
