Wigan have completed the signing of midfielder James McArthur from Hamilton for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old has signed a four-year contract at the DW Stadium after the Scottish Premier League club agreed to his sale this week.

The Scotland Under-21 international follows the same path as fellow midfielder James McCarthy, who left Accies for Wigan last summer.
