Brendan Rodgers’ side are looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa last weekend, and Lucas replaces Philippe Coutinho with Borini handed his first start for the ineffective Adam Lallana. A fit-again Skrtel returned to the defence to partner Dejan Lovren.
West Ham make just one change from the side that played out the thrilling 3-3 draw with Hull on Monday, with summer loan signing Alex Song handed his first start for the club.
The former Arsenal player replaces Mauro Zarate in Sam Allardyce’s only change, with the Argentinian forward dropping to the bench.
