Swansea manager Garry Monk has made four changes to his starting line-up for the visit of Bournemouth, in the knowledge that anything other than a victory could spell the end of his reign at the Liberty Stadium.

Monk is under pressure after a run of one win in their last nine matches in all competitions, and a number of key players have been left out of his starting XI ahead of the Premier League encounter.

Federico Fernandez, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Jefferson Montero and Bafetimbi Gomis are all dropped to the bench for the clash with the Cherries, with Kyle Bartley coming into defence, Leon Britton joining the midfield trio and both Wayne Routledge and Eder coming into the front-three.

Bournemouth meanwhile will hope to pick up their first win in seven matches, and manager Eddie Howe has resisted the urge for mass changes despite the south coast club sitting in the relegation zone.

Steve Cook replaces Adam Smith in the only change to the side that somehow managed to lose 1-0 to Newcastle despite having 13 shot to the Magpies’s two, and Howe keeps faith with Matt Ritchie and Josh King despite not scoring in their last three outings.
