Fixtures confirmed as Premier League nears return

Real Madrid take on Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday evening as Zinedine Zidane’s side continue their pursuit of Barcelona at the top of La Liga.

Madrid returned to winning ways as play resumed last weekend, comfortably defeating Eibar 3-0, and can close the gap to two points with another victory.

Zidane’s side are on a 14-game unbeaten run at home, however, Valencia will provide stern opposition. Los Che can move to within one point of the Europa League places if they’re able to pull off an upset and arrest a slide of just one win in their last six matches.

They will be confident, though, with Karim Benzema’s 95th-minute equaliser all that saved Madrid’s blushes in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
