Falcao has not had the best of times this season since joining Manchester United on transfer deadline day

Falcao is currently on a season-long loan at Old Trafford from Ligue 1 side Monaco, in a package that has set United back nearly £20m in both fees and wages.
Despite this, United have not had to shell out too much on goal bonuses, given that the Colombian has only scored four goals this season while laying on four assists for his team-mates.
But it was his poor showing against Preston North End in the FA Cup last month that appears to have convinced United that Falcao is not the man to lead them back to the top of English football, having suffered a dramatic fall from grace since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
So what next for Falcao? Unfortunately, he hasn’t been done any favours after the club’s official Vine account sent out a short video of the striker performing kick-ups on the famous Old Trafford pitch – except there isn’t a football in sight.
Having been given the meme treatment after his latest howler in the win over Burnley, Twitter users have wasted no time in laying into the club to ask them why Falcao was stitched up with his “air shot” video.
Falcao does have another chance to end his torment in front of goal when United take on Newcastle tonight, and with Robin van Persie still absent through injury, he's certainly being given a chance to change what appears to be the inevitable come the end of the season.
*Update: The vine was removed from Manchester United's account on Wednesday afternoon.
