West Ham fans will be hoping for a better performance from their side after the loss to Crystal Palace prompted boos from the home supporters.

Chelsea, who enjoyed victory in the League Cup final on Sunday, will hope to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

If it wasn’t for a home defeat against Bradford in the FA Cup, Chelsea would still be aiming to complete the quadruple this season after bagging the League Cup and remaining in contention for the Premier League and Champions League trophy. Their lead at the top of the league was strengthened over the weekend as Manchester City dropped points at Anfield but Jose Mourinho’s side cannot afford to lose concentration.

West Ham’s poor form in recent weeks have seen them fall to ninth place on the Premier League table and a humiliating defeat to West Brom in February saw them crash out of the FA Cup. Sam Allardyce’s side haven’t recorded a league win since January and they’re in need of one if they wish to remain in the top 10 come the end of the season.
