Everton vs Manchester City, Premier League - as it happened
Re-live all the action from Goodison Park
After a two-week break, the Premier League returns in all its glory. With a full programme on offer across the weekend, there’s eight games to get stuck in today.
The early game saw Liverpool fight from behind to see off an impressive Crystal Palace as Mohamed Salah continued his incredible goalscoring run this season, sealing a 2-1 victory that also saw Sadio Mane on target.
Manchester United, Newcastle and West Ham all take to the field at 3pm against Swansea, Huddersfield and Southampton respectively, while Brighton host Leicester and Watford entertain Bournemouth, and basement side West Brom will attempt to end their dismal form against Burnley at the Hawthorns.
Everton vs Manchester City is this evening’s 5.30pm game, with Pep Guardiola’s men looking to avoid the humiliation they suffered at Goodison Park in this fixture last season.

Newcastle 15:00 Huddersfield
Watford 15:00 Bournemouth
West Brom 15:00 Burnley
West Ham 15:00 Southampton
Everton 17:30 Manchester City
Brighton 0-0 Leicester
Glenn Murray has a great chance to give Brighton the lead at the Amex but, with just Kasper Schmeichel to beat, the veteran striker misses the target!
With the form he's been in recently, you'd have expected him to bury that!
GOAL! Watford 1-1 Bournemouth (King, 43)
Bournemouth striker Josh King turns the ball home from the spot after the referee had awarded the visitors a penalty following a Jose Holebas handball.
West Ham 3-0 Southampton (Arnautovic, 45+4)
Arthur Masuaku's cross is volleyed home by Marko Arnautovic and that, you would have to say, is probably game over!
Half-time scores in the Premier League
- Brighton 0-0 Leicester
- Manchester United 2-0 Swansea
- Newcastle 0-0 Huddersfield
- Watford 1-1 Bournemouth
- West Brom 0-1 Burnley
- West Ham 2-0 Southampton
Brighton 0-0 Leicester
Pascal Gross' deflected effort looks for all the world as though it's going to loop beyond Leicester stopper Kasper Schmeichel but the big Dane produces a remarkable save to tip the ball behind for a corner.
Wonderful goalkeeping.
GOAL! Watford 2-1 Bournemouth (Pereyra, 49)
Roberto Pereyra restores Watford's lead at Vicarage Road as he beats Asmir Begovic from close range!
West Ham 3-0 Southampton
After almost an hour, Charlie Austin has Southampton's first on-target shot of the match against West Ham!
Unfortunately for Austin, his effort is blocked behind for a corner, which comes to nothing for the visitors.
Manchester United 2-0 Swansea
Alexis Sanchez comes close to notching his second goal of the game but the United forward's header loops just over the crossbar from close range.
Moments later at the other end Tammy Abraham is denied twice in quick succession by a couple of wonderful David de Gea saves.
West Brom 0-1 Burnley
West Brom still trail Burnley to that first-half Ashley Barnes goal. The Baggies have improved since the interval after a dismal showing in the opening period but they're yet to grab a goal.
