Premier League leaders Arsenal take on a Hull City side that defeated Liverpool at the weekend on Wednesday night.

Arsenal have been the story of English football of late, running away to four points clear of second place Chelsea thanks to the goal scoring form of midfielder Aaron Ramsey. Hull, however, will not be taken lightly after an impressive 3-1 home win over an inform Liverpool side at the weekend. That proved to be the Yorkshire side’s fifth win of the season and a crucial one at that, lifting them to 10th position in the table and seven points clear of the relegation zone.

It’s the home form of Hull that has propelled them to mid-table, but away from the KC Stadium the Yorkshire club have only managed to pick up one win out of a possible six. Their travels won’t get any easier as they face an Arsenal side that haven’t lost since at home in the Premier League since their opening day defeat to Aston Villa.

The summer arrival of Mesut Ozil has reinvigorated this Arsenal side but it has been the form of Ramsey which has proved to be the main talking point of the season. The Welshman has scored eight Premier League goals so far this season and the former Cardiff player doesn’t look like stopping after notching two at the weekend against his former club.

Hull will be hoping Tom Huddlestone can continue to marshal the midfield as he did on Sunday otherwise the movement of Arsenal’s midfield could leave the visiting team vulnerable, and allow Arsenal to add to their tally of three wins in a row.
