From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Newcastle are in fabulous form of late having beaten both Tottenham and Chelsea before the international break. Alan Pardew's side lie four points of the Champions League places and will be looking to record their third win in a row on Saturday.

Loic Remy will be the danger man for the Magpies having scored seven goals already this season, and the Frenchman will want to add to that tally this weekend. Tim Krul has also been a rock in goal for Newcastle this season putting in a phenomenal display against Tottenham calling it: “The highlight of my career”.

Norwich on the other hand have struggled so far this season. They did have a convincing win over West Ham in their last League game, but before that they hadn't won in five games and are in desperate need of another victory this weekend. Chris Hughton's men are just one point above the relegation zone and three points on Saturday could be extremely valuable to the Canaries by the time May comes around.
