Louis van Gaal has made two enforced changes to the team that lost the Manchester derby - with Daley Blind likely to start at centre-back alongside Paddy McNair.

The Dutch coach has previously stated that he likes one left-footed and one right-footed player to be partners in the middle of defence, meaning utility man Blind is likely to play alongside 19-year-old McNair.

Carrick, who filled in at centre-back in the Manchester derby, will likely take Blind's place in the holding role.

Neil Warnock has made four changes to Crystal Palace with Adrian Marriapa, Damien Delaney, Jason Puncheon and James McArthur coming into the team following the defeat to Sunderland.

Two of those changes are enforced with Mile Jedinak sent off against the Black Cats and Wilfried Zaha unable to play against his parent club.
