Leaked versions of the strip have been doing the rounds for some time, but the second kit has now officially been revealed at an event in Brixton, south London.
The strip is made by Adidas, who took over from Nike as Manchester United's kit maker after agreeing a £750m 10-year deal with the club.
The away strip is very similar to the popular home kit, but with the white and red colours reversed.
Juan Mata recently revealed that he is a fan of the retro style of Manchester United's new strips. Adidas made kits for the Red Devils for much of the 80s.
Manchester United wore a white away strip last season.
