Alexis Sanchez is set to make his Manchester United debut in the side’s fourth-round FA Cup clash against Yeovil Town on Friday.

The Chilean is eligible to feature having not played in the competition for Arsenal this season.

After that, the player can expect to line-up in United’s showdown with Tottenham the following.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s Arsenal debut will have to wait until next week, however, with the Armenian cup-tied for the north Londoners’ EFL Cup second-leg semi-final against Chelsea this Wednesday.

As a result, his first outing in an Arsenal shirt will come in the side’s Premier League trip to Swansea on Tuesday 30 January.

Sanchez said he was “thrilled to be joining the biggest club in the world,” and that “the chance to play in this historic stadium and to work with Jose Mourinho was something I could not turn down”.

On the other side of the player-swap, Mkhitaryan said: “I’m very happy that we could finish this deal and I’m very happy to be here. It’s a dream come true because I’ve always dreamed of playing for Arsenal.”
