From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Gerrard leads the side out for the final time at Anfield before he leaves to join LA Galaxy, and he’ll be joined in the side by the returning Jordan Ibe, with Rickie Lamber dropped to the bench.
That means Raheem Sterling moves into a makeshift striker role, with the other change coming in defence with Glen Johnson replaced by Alberto Moreno.
Palace manager Alan Pardew has made the surprising decision to rotate his goalkeepers as Julian Speroni is dropped to the bench in favour of Wayne Hennessey in one of five changes.
Damien Delaney is replaced in defence by Martin Keely, while Mile Jedinak, Wilfried Zaha and Glenn Murray are all dropped to the bench with Jason Puncheon, Lee Chung-yong and Marouane Chamakh all preferred.
