Liverpool reveal new 'red pepper' home kit for 2018/19 season
The strip, all red - for a change - continues with the 'red pepper' colouring that made the 2017/18 version the most popular and best-selling in history
Liverpool have released their home kit ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The strip, all red - for a change - continues with the 'red pepper' colouring that made the 2017/18 version the most popular and best-selling in history.
The shirt, manufactured again by New Balance includes a retro collar with white trim and as ever honours the victims of the Hillsborough disaster with a 96 embroidered on the back.
Skipper Jordan Henderson said: “Our kit isn’t just something we wear to play, it’s part of who we are as team, we feel immensely proud when pulling on the LFC Home shirt, it means more to us than you could even imagine; after all, Liverpool Football Club is like no other.
"I have no doubt that our fans will love the new kit, and will wear it with pride when supporting us this coming season.”
The goalkeeper shirt, an all yellow number, has also been revealed.
The club are set to surprise 30 fans who pre-order the new kit by giving it to them for free and will also donate 125 shirts to local schoolchildren to mark the club's 125th anniversary.
The kits will go on official sale on May 11.
